Chapter 11: Just Like A Maggot Should is the eleventh chapter of Shadow Warrior (2013).
Synopsis[]
Lo Wang must fight a second Ancient, Mezu, to get information about the last Whisperer.
Storyline[]
As Lo Wang is transported to the Shadow Realm, he accuses Hoji of not revealing that he's one of the Ancients too and created the Whisperers. Hoji defends that he created only one Whisperer and Enra made the others. He also reveals that all the Ancients are his brothers. Because Wang needs Hoji's help he lets him to tag along with him but warns that if he does something funny, Wang will kill him.
They proceed to explore the Shadow Realm and find Mezu. Hoji reveals that they are at the Outer Gates, which Mezu is charged to guard. Wang finds Mezu and proceeds to fight him. He manages to defeat Mezu and then Hoji extracts Mezu's soul from his battle armor. Mezu reveals that Enra made a deal with Zilla to gather the Nobitsura Kage but instead Zilla held Xing's Whisperer for ransom; that's why other Whisperers couldn't return to the Shadow Realm. Hoji then sucks out Ki from Mezu and creates portal to the last Whisperer.
